Healthy in Quarantine

Hey Everyone during this time it is SUPER IMPORTANT to REMEMBER that there are very good things that we can all do to stay healthy and not focus on the fear of this time.   Our bodies are designed to be able to do what they were created to do…GOOD NUTRITION and MOVING OUR BODIES will be super important for us physically, emotionally and spiritually.   I was speaking with my daughter who is a chiropractor and she shared some spinets of ideas we can all do to support our bodies and each other.  Here are support ideas …

Chicken Soup with broth …this is a great soup that adds vitamins and minerals and also is a mucolytic( breaks ups mucus)

Vitamin C …we know this vitamin is one of the greatest to support our immune system against this virus….here are some foods that are high in vitamin C.  Red peppers, kiwi, oranges, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, strawberries, pineapple.

Vitamin D3 is great also to support our immune system and lung health.

Stay hydrated…pure water, freshly squeeze in lemon or lime or make it infused  by slices of fresh fruit in water.

Finally exercise is very important to support us physically and mentally..

  1. 10 jumping jacks
  2. 10 sit ups
  3. 10 push ups
  4. 10 chair dips
  5.  10 laps around your house walk or run
  6.  10x up and down stairs
  7.  10 burpees
  8.  10 Russian twists
  9. 30 second plank
  10. 20 or 30 mountain climbers
  11. Bonus exercise air squats

Do one round of this and if you feel really energized go for one more
