May & Mental Health Awareness

What have you done to improve your mental health this month? How have you reflected on your current state of mind?

With everything going on in the world, it is easy to get tangled up in the scary stories and concerning articles. Whether or not we know it, our mental health is being tampered with when we allow ourselves to consume too much of this. It is okay to keep up with what is going on, but when it starts to bring us down, it may be a good idea to take a step back for awhile.

Make it a personal challenge to finish up the month of May taking at least 20 minutes a day to do something that improves your mental health. This can look differently for everyone, but just know that if it is an activity that makes you smile, it’s probably a good idea!

For some inspiration, Dignity Revolution created this Mental Health Bingo card with little activities you can do to improve your mental health. Try to get five in a row or fill up the whole board! Do what you can these next few days to take care of YOU!
