Parental Care

Parents you care, you give, you serve, but are you doing that for yourself? Are you taking time to be there for yourself? Don’t get me wrong,  please continue shining brightness in the dark places and working with educators to be a team for these students. We need to build bridges rather than burn them down during this time. We want to grow in understanding of our students mental health and wellness and how it impacts them directly, but we also want you to know you are not alone. You deserve to feel better and be better. You are part of this community that creates a space for educators, counselors, parents and teens to all know that they matter.  In this mental health emergency, adolescents need hope and help and we know that parents and teachers are on the front lines of that. We want to come along side with resources to give advanced awareness and understanding to serious issues that students are feeling. We want you to know you are not alone and that you can’t take care of others unless you are taking care of yourself. So parents, will you care? Care for yourself, but also continue to care and ask the hard questions.
